Hi! I'm Jimmy, I'm a nerd and I love creating and playing video games.

Currently I am working as a Game Designer and Scripter at Steel Wool Studios!

Video games are my passion, and I have followed this passion throughout my entire life. From the time I could remember, I was playing games. I've played most major titles and quite a few lesser-known titles, and I am always looking for more inspiration. I look to games now as more than just a way to have fun, I see them as an art form and a science to be studied and examined. I love breaking down the design of games, or looking into the programming behind unique experiences.

My Master of Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Interactive Design and Game Development gave me more knowledge of the many different pipelines in game design and development, and also sparked my interest in game design as a field. From my Bachelor's in Computer Science at Clemson University, I am experienced in various programming languages, mainly C++ and C#, which has translated well into gameplay scripting.

I have travelled throughout my life outside of the US multiple times, to Mexico, Canada, and many countries in Europe. I believe that travel is an extremely important part of life, allowing people to see and absorb cultures different than the one they grew up in. I find myself being a better person when I am able to view other cultures and ideals and take inspiration from them, and I use that in my game design, as I am always looking for new and interesting ideas.

To me, game development is about improving the lives of our fellow humans by providing entertainment, inspiration, or education.
